All loaf weights are based on finished, cured soap weight. Cut loaves are sliced into individual bars. Approximate bar counts and sizes will be confirmed before ordering.

Botanical & herbal powders

These powders offer botanical character and natural design possibilities. Color is an approximate guide, not a guaranteed finished shade. Botanical ingredients are not presented as treatments, and benefits associated with raw plants should not be assumed to carry over into finished, rinse-off soap.

• Soursop Leaf Powder: Earthy green-brown tones. Adds botanical character and a naturally rustic appearance.
• Moringa Leaf Powder: Natural green tones that may fade during curing. A plant-based choice for an earthy botanical look.
• Turmeric Powder: Golden yellow-orange through amber or brown, depending on the recipe and amount used. Adds warm natural color for golden-toned designs.
• Manjistha Powder: A botanical color option to discuss during design approval. The finished shade depends on the exact root powder and recipe; a pink or red result is not guaranteed.
• Indigo Powder: Can create light to deep blue shades when using a suitable soapmaking indigo. Useful for naturally colored blue designs; the exact powder and method affect the result.
• Amla Powder: A botanical addition for customers who prefer an herbal-inspired recipe. Finished color and texture will be discussed before approval; no specific skin or hair benefit is promised for the finished soap.
• Shikakai Powder: A botanical option for an herbal-inspired loaf. We’ll confirm suitability, texture, and expected color for your recipe rather than promise the cleansing benefits associated with other shikakai preparations.
• Sidr Powder: An herbal addition for botanical-inspired designs. Expected finished color and texture depend on the powder and recipe and will be discussed before approval.

Clays, calamine & oatmeal

• Calamine Powder: Soft blush-pink color potential. An option for a delicate pink design; finished soap is not offered as an anti-itch or rash treatment.
• Kaolin Clay: Off-white to cream tones. Can add a silky feel and slip to soap, helping the bar glide during washing.
• Pink Kaolin Clay: Soft pink to muted rose tones. Offers natural color and a clay-based silky feel for a blush-toned loaf.
• Colloidal Oatmeal: A finely milled oat addition for an oat-inspired loaf. Your recipe will determine the finished shade and feel. Unlike coarse oats, it is not chosen for a pronounced scrubby texture.

Finished color, texture, and lather depend on the complete recipe, ingredient amount, and curing process. We’ll confirm what is achievable for your custom loaf before you approve it.

Milks & specialty additions

• Goat’s Milk: Contributes to a rich, creamy lather for a luxurious wash.
• Coconut Milk: A plant-based milk option that can contribute to creamy lather and texture.
• Rice Milk: A plant-based milk option for a creamy-lather soap recipe.
• Aloe Vera Juice: A botanical liquid option for an aloe-inspired loaf. Finished feel depends on the complete recipe; this is not a leave-on aloe treatment.
• Carrot Purée: Adds botanical character and can contribute yellow-to-orange natural color.
• Honey: Its natural sugars can help boost bubbles and lather.
• Silk: Adds slip and a silky feel to the lather.

Oils

We balance oils within a complete recipe to achieve your preferred cleansing feel and lather. Individual oils are transformed during soapmaking, so finished soap does not have the same properties as applying the raw oil directly.

• Olive Oil: Contributes to mild cleansing with a low, creamy-to-slippery lather. Olive-rich bars develop firmness as they cure.
• Olive Pomace Oil: An olive-derived base-oil option for an olive-inspired soap. Its performance is balanced within the full recipe.
• Coconut Oil: Helps create a firm bar with abundant, fluffy bubbles and strong cleansing. We balance it with other oils for the desired wash feel.
• Avocado Oil: Contributes to mild cleansing and moderate lather.
• Castor Oil: Helps boost and support lather for a fuller, bubbly wash.
• Rice Bran Oil: Contributes to mild cleansing and moderate lather, and can give the bar a subtle sheen.
• High Oleic Sunflower Oil: A sunflower-oil option for a balanced base-oil blend. Finished lather and feel depend on the recipe.
• Palm Kernel Oil: Helps build a firm bar with fluffy bubbles and cleansing lather.
• Sweet Almond Oil: Contributes to mild cleansing and moderate lather.
• Jojoba Oil: Helps stabilize lather as part of a balanced soap recipe. Finished feel depends on the complete formula.

Butters & fats

• Mango Butter: Helps add firmness and a rich feel to a balanced soap recipe.
• Shea Butter: Supports a firm, long-lasting bar with stable, creamy, lotion-like lather.
• Cocoa Butter: Helps create a hard, long-lasting bar with stable, creamy lather.
• Kokum Butter: A specialty butter option for your base-oil blend. We’ll confirm the expected bar texture and lather for your chosen recipe.
• Beef Tallow: Helps create a firm bar with stable, creamy lather.
• Lard: Contributes to a firm bar with mild cleansing and stable, creamy lather.

Ingredient descriptions explain potential contributions to a balanced recipe, not guaranteed results or treatment benefits. The complete formula and curing process determine the finished bar’s performance.

Please share any ingredient exclusions with your request so we can discuss whether we can accommodate them before your order is approved. Some options are animal-derived, including goat’s milk, honey, silk, beef tallow, and lard.

Colors and botanical appearance may vary between handmade batches and during curing.

How custom ordering works

1. Send your request. Tell us what you have in mind using the form below.
2. Review and approve. We’ll confirm your ingredients, design, loaf size, packaging, final price, and estimated processing and delivery dates.
3. Submit your deposit. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required once your custom design and ingredients are approved.
4. We handcraft your loaf. Every loaf is handcrafted fresh to order. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for curing. Processing and delivery dates will be confirmed when ordering.
5. Pay the remaining balance. The balance is due before shipping or pickup.

Free shipping on custom orders over $100

Offer applies to qualifying custom-order merchandise totals before taxes and after discounts. Standard shipping within the continental United States only. A $100 order alone does not qualify.

Important custom order details

Because each soap loaf is specially handcrafted to your preferences, all order details must be reviewed and approved before finalization.

Once your custom order has been finalized and approved, no changes can be made to the fragrance, ingredients, colors, design, loaf size, or packaging options. Please carefully review your order before submitting your deposit.

Custom-order cancellations and refunds are subject to our stated order terms and applicable law.
